His first encounter with Nabeshima Dantsu was during his job hunting before graduating from university. From the time he was in school, he wanted to get a job relating something to Japanese traditional crafts. In addition to painting, he also took a pottery class.  He use to play with the soil when he was in middle school because he had a relative who was a potter. From this experience, he was initially looking for a job in the pottery field.

While he was looking for a job, he happened to learn Nabeshima Dantsu, and he visited the Dantsu workshop in Kurume city. At first, .....
