Series 1 Characteristics

The basic size of Nabeshima Dantsu (hereafter Nabeshima rug) is 191cm x 95cm. It will take more than one month to create this rug due to all the handmade woven. There are more than 60 different kinds of traditional patterns from the beauties of nature with 100 different dyed colors which are selected from the many Japanese traditional colors.

By the way, the most popular design of Nabeshima rug is "crab peony".  A peony is praised as “king of hundred flowers” in China and this noble and wealthy Chinese national flower was a suitable.....
